| MARTY KATZ is currently in post production on Love Ranch, which Taylor Hackford is directing, and stars Joe Pesci and Helen Mirren. Mirren and Pesci plays a husband/wife team who own and run one of Nevada's first legalized brothel ranches. Their lives are irrevocably altered when a world famous heavy weight boxer from South America comes to train at the Ranch. The word "LOVE" in the title is double edged: The sale of sex at the brothel is clearly a mechanical, meaningless love, but the romantic triangle that develops between the film's three main characters, all cynical professionals, is real and uncontrollable, erupting into passion and murder.
